She got me again! Someday I'm going to figure out the mystery in one of Ms. Gardner's books before the end. But not today and not this book! I always think I have it and then she throws in a twist I didn't see coming, which is why I love her books. This one was a little sloppy in the editing and included the nonsensical phrase "baited" breath, which really annoyed me.

I have to say I'm not fond of this book, yet I love the writer. I liked the parts that characters played first person it gave in depth look, yet was not as gripping. I guessed half of ending by mid book and it was a bit LONG in that first half. Hoping to read more of this great author in future, yet this was not very exciting/cliff hanger-ish for me.

She did it AGAIN! So amazing! I want to apologize to my 8 month old son for ignoring him while I finished this book! Sorry baby! This had more twists and turns than a runaway mine train. Holy cow-I couldn't read fast enough-it kept me guessing till the end! And oh-the end! Magnificent! One of her best! I might have to read it again...and I NEVER do that! You will not regret reading this!
