What Members Thought

Update: 9/11/15
I'm meeting Sarah on the 23rd of this month so I thought I'd draw her some fan-art since I've finished uni. My interpretations of Aelin, Chaol, Dorian and Rowan!!!!!

This book was EXTREMELY satisfying. Sarah left no stone unturned and just kept the action going on every page. This is definitely my favourite of the series, so far!
MAJOR SPOILERS: like legit the whole book is summarised down here so don't read if you...haven't read

Third read: November 2018
Second read: September 2016 <3
First read, September 2015: Oh, hell yes! It's like, just when I think Sarah J. Maas is at the top of her game, she writes QoS and makes me admire her even more. This book was everything I wanted it to be, and it will always be amongst my absolute favorites. Fucking amazing!

Wow! I don't even know how to express how amazing this book was. Never ever has a book made me feel sooo many things all at once but Sarah J Maas books do it Every. Single. Time. Without fail. I am in awe of Sarah's writing and story telling!
This is basically me after finishing a Sarah J Maas book:

This was epic! So intense and filled with many twists and shocking revelations. Finally seeing Arobynn in the main books was great, it was interesting to see how complex his personality is, and how he lives to manipulate everyone around him but I still feel that I needed to know why he was this person and what made him so.
Aelin was a bit much for me in the start of the book, but I think it makes sense because she had to become a Queen everyone can believe in, but it was such a relief to have ...more

This was my favorite in the series. I liked this book when I read it but it's come to my attention that this series has a lot of issues and perpetuates lots of toxic ideas I don't support. I'm clearing my rating for all the books in the series and no longer supporting Sarah J Maas.

OK confession time; I couldn’t wait to start reading Queen of Shadows before writing my Heir of Fire review, so this is going to be a joint review of both books.
For those of you unaware, Heir of Fire and Queen of Shadows are the third and fourth books respectively in Sarah J. Maas’ Throne of Glass series. It is YA fantasy series with a kickass heroine and great worldbuilding. If you’ve not yet started it, I highly recommend checking it out.

I loved it!!! Didn't really care for the whole Aelin and Rowan romance Personally i thought it happened to quickly. I did love Dorian and Manon now that I want to see. Sarah J. Maas Out did herself again such a beautiful story loved it. But by the last 15 chapters i was kind of snapping my fingers like come one " get to the point already." I think my favorite characters may have been this book also who have grown in spectacular ways Manon, Kaltain, Elide, Lysandra, and Aedion. Loved every bit of
