What Members Thought
In all fairness, I read this AFTER seeing both film and stage versions of it. Turns out the play and movie version included every single thing that is in the book. The novel has no more character development or plot device, it just takes longer. The story is a bit too simple and the internal monologues of the characters are belabored. Rent the movie, go see the play, but I cannot highly recommend the novel.
