I love this book so much! I read it for the first time in 2014 and I wanted to reread it because it's my favorite trilogy. I loved it the first time, but it was so much better the second time. The Clockwork Angel is the first book in the Infernal Devices series, the story is set in the Victorian era, London. The heroin in this book is a 16 year old girl Tessa.

At first I was worried by the title that this book would be strictly a steam punk type novel. I was wrong.
I fall in love with the book and writing style. It was just what I need for a pick me up.
Now on to what I didn't like. I didn't like the female characters in this book. I felt that they were too whinny for me to connect with.
What did I like. I like Thomas. Even though he was not a big part of the book. I wish he was. I enjoyed the twists and turns of the book. This book kept left me second ...more
