I had heard of "Hannibal" - that iconic scene in the film with "Clarice" and the nightmarish image of Lecter with that muzzle over his face. Not usually the type of genre I would select to read, I felt compelled to do so because my favorite actor Richard Armitage had been cast in the role of Francis Dolaryde in the television production of Hannibal.
