I had read this book some years ago and revisited the novel via audio book. Oscar Wilde delved into the mind of the character of Dorian Gray. Gray starts out as a beautiful person body and soul and because of the character Sir Henry who seems to be leading him astray he goes down the wrong path. Dorian does have a conscience, he knows right from wrong and he is constantly at battle within himself for his soul.
