This was certainly a different type of read for me. More than just a satire, it feels like a wild coaster ride, I want to desperately jump off but have to wait for the end. A novel with in a novel and so much more. The author has a wide variety of other than normal characters and it goes from Moscow when the devil arrives, to a book telling the tale of Pontius Pilate and the effect of the death of Jesus and also the story of the lovers, the Master and Margarita. One of my most favourite books of all times! Read it first when I was 15 as a part of the school program and fell in love. Re-read several times since. Hoping sometime there will be a movie/TV adaptation that will match the amazing writing of Mikhail Bulgakov.
