What Members Thought
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. The author creates a combination of a passionate erotic love with the graphic scenarios of WWI trench/tunnel battles. Personally I didn't care for the era changes. It almost felt like two separate stories going on, the back and forth between the two eras didn't create a purpose in bringing the story together, the ending was positively horrible.
