Good murder mystery. An unreliable narrator gives it a bit of a twist.

3.5. This was kind of gone-girlish for me (so lots of people will love it). I couldn't put it down and read it really quickly, so it was engaging, but I didn't really like the story or where it went. It was deliberately mysterious, but I didn't learn enough about the main character to really care or like her. Actually, I really didn't like her, or anyone, at all.

This one was a bit slow for me. But it paid off in the end. I was led in a different direction when the main character Rachael couldn't remember what happened the night of the murder. That kept me going to the end as I thought someone else did it.

It was an ok read. It wasn't one I couldn't put down though. Maybe it was the characters. Was looking for more twists. Seemed a bit predictable.

Maybe id give this a 3.75. Not sure why I'm having a hard time rating this book. I don't think it deserves a 4 but it's better than a 3.
