I have wanted to read this for a while and just kept putting it off. I love a mystery and if there is any angst involved that makes it all the better.
Although we are kept in the dark as to why "John" Darby keeps all personal information a secret and even presents as barely more than a steward to Mr. Bingley there are a few scattered hints as to what he has been doing for the last three years and why he has been hiding out in Cornwall most recently. A refreshingly unique plot will make your curiosity turn the pages on this intriguing book. Earned a 4.5* rounded up to 5.

....3.5 stars for the middle. Lizzy was a bit annoying with her “feelings”/situation with Mr. Bingley. How many times was she going to consider if she would marry him.... without true love?!

This was a really enjoyable read. It was interesting to watch Darcy's character develop as he learns what it is like to be an ordinary man and NOT to be a man of consequence.
