Look, I really have no idea what made us think this was a good book when we were younger. There are so many bits of it that are just awful, but just to focus on one, let's look at the final scene when they award 180 points to Griffandor at the final celebration for who won the cup. Okay. Harry has been in the hospital for days - long enough for Dumbledore, Hagrid, and Ron and Hermione to come talk to him, and all of them felt it had been too long that they weren't allowed to.
