I really enjoyed this. Poignant and timely for numerous reasons. It covers love and lost, racism, friendship along with the titular loneliness. It was somewhat bittersweet reading this in the mist of the Covid-19 lockdown and the resurgence of the #BlackLivesMatter movement and how this has highlighted how prevalent racism still is in our society along the issues of loneliness and isolation. Absolutely gorgeous, such a heart warming story. I loved every minute of it, and didn't want it to end.
