I didn't know Breis before reading this but by the time I got half way through the book I was a fan. I stopped about a third of the way in and went to listen to some of his music. That's where the experience really came to life, and I became so much more invested in the journey.

Breis has written really honestly, and comes across as a genuinely nice and humble person, but he is also super talented, and a bit of a vet in his industry. So his humility is even more impressive.
