It was cute. I'm not sure if I like the constant cheery-ness of it, though. It's fairly unrealistic, how nice everyone is. I mean, there are issues, but they are pretty mild, and the main kid is SO nice.. teenage boys are never that nice. This is a light, feel-good read that was a lot of fun. It takes place in a high school and town where being gay is all good with a foray into a neighboring town where it isn't but they don't stay too long there. It's funny in a heartwarming way and I just really enjoyed it. This would make a nice gift for the budding gay teen in your life. ...more

This books reminds me of Perks of Being A Wallflower. It made me cry in a realizing way. Boy Meets Boy, sis just one of those affirming stories and although the main character is gay, what he's telling can go either way and is all encompassing. I'm glad I read this one. ...more

If only.

I just found a signed copy of this book at Half-Price.

I'm going to put it on my shelf in my high school classroom and hope that the entire place is transformed its mere presence.
