What Members Thought
Aud is a tall Norwegian with issues. She's an ex-cop/private detective (when she feels like it) who has had a lot of violence in her life and is closed, wary and holds the world at arm's length. The Blue Place is a dark novel and, at first, I kept thinking that Aud needed to just lighten up a little but as the story goes on, you begin to see why she is the way she is.

I need someone to buy this book for me!!!
This book was amazing. It engaged ALL my senses. Her prose is amazing. I struggled between really wanting to read her writing and wanting to get up and practice writing on my own.
This book easily skyrockets to the top of my favorite books list. I can't wait to find other books by this author. And to think that I just happened to pick this book up without knowing what I was getting myself into.
A must-read for those who like to read descriptive but not over ...more
