What Members Thought

I still don't get this series. There are quests, new quests start, throw in some odd sexual experiences that are eluded to in such away that you aren't sure if they are happening of if you are just "reading" into it, and then the book ends.
It meanders and wanders without containing the whimsy of F. L. Baum's world. It is a serious book about death, carnage, and evil, but doesn't really work for me.

I had put off reading this for a while. I liked "Wicked" a lot so I didn't mind that it had an end that I was happy with. "Son of a Witch" did a nice job continuing and then making a new story that left "Wicked" alone.
