I really loved this book. I felt that it connected with teenage emotions and experiences more. Yes Brent Hartingers books are probably some of the first GLB books that have their characters actually think about SEX. obviously since they are teenagers its going to be a part of their lvies. Im happy he didnt sideline this fact. In Geogrpahy Club, Russel and Min’s other best friend Gunnar’s skanky girl is the one who outs Russel. In this novel, Gunnar’s Dad’s friend owns a camp where the three go to be counselors.

The first two- week session is for kids who are burn victims. It’s with them that Russel learns and teaches the most.
