Vampir Avcısı Buffy, çizgi roman olarak geri döneli çok oldu aslında. Ben çizgi roman okumayı pek beceremediğim için okumakla okumamak arasında bayağı uzun bir süre gittim geldim açıkçası. Sonunda 'okurum yaaaaa' diye triplere girerek aldım elime ve beş bölümden oluşan, Albüm 1 - Evden Uzakta - Zincir isimli kitabı okudum.

Çizgi romanın beni heyecanlandıran kısmı Buffy'nin (ve Firefly ve Dollhouse, vs.) yaratıcısı Joss Whedon tarafından yazılmış olmasıydı. Daha da h ...more

It's season 8, and full of pretty good writing, but I feel like these "episodes" are fairly nostalgic as opposed to innovative.

And call me crazy, but I really think they could have worked harder to capture likenesses in the art. I mean, doesn't Whedon have his pick of anybody on the planet? Why does Xander look like Batman? Why does Amy look like Buffy, and Buffy look like Faith?

When I first read it, The Long Way Home was a bit disappointing. The storyline felt messy, and I found it hard to follow. Then I read it again and picked up on more subtle details. With each re-read, I liked it more and more. Now I think it's a brilliant first episode, and I have high hopes for future issues. ...more
