Really nice art. Good story. Sam just tried to read Ghost World and gave up in disgust, which suggested the comparison to me. Similar themes---adolescents being adolescenty---but I prefer Skim's less artsy/futile plot. Granted, it's been a while since I read Ghost World, so maybe I should pick it up again.

This is a short read, I finished it in one sitting, and is a little slice of a high school girl's life, early 90's Toronto, love and sexuality, hating school and not fitting in, good stuff. I thought it was a very realistic portrayal of how you change and figure yourself out at that age. Some of the art really hit me as well, like the neighbourhood watch sign.
