Vanyel meets a new (or possibly old?) love and faces the worst threat to Valdemar. My only complaint was that the jumps forward in time toward the end of the book were a bit awkward.
Meh. MEH. I'm glad I was forewarned about the gratuitous sexual violence toward the end of the book.
