I really like Langley's style of writing. It is so easy to picture the story in my mind as she is telling it. I truly enjoyed every minute of this novel. It had it all humor, suspense, and some very heated moments between the sheets! I loved this book, and I am planning on reading more books by this author ASAP!
Thanks for the recommendation ladies!

I keep looking for gay SF, but keep ending up with m/m Harlequins.

This book had a bit of character dev and a bit of political intrigue separated by one boring, detailed sex scene after another. Nothing about it was SF except for house computer butlers with programmable personalities. I really enjoyed the first book in this series - fast-paced action with a romance. However, this book focused a lot more on the romantic scenes and less about the action aspect of the novel. A new relationship has been added to the series but the intrigue aspect of the novel was extremely weak, which was a big disappointment for me.

Also, the writer switches from one character's first person to another character's first person perspective from paragraph to paragraph. I found this very disconcerti

This was a fun read. I think I just found a real deep love for a genre I had never heard of before: Sci-fi regency. It had all the things I love about the old regency romance novels blended with the fun and excitement of sci-fi.
The characters were enjoyable and intriguing. I really enjoyed the slow build-up of their affair.
All in all, a very nice book that kept me riveted for the last 24-hours. Heck, I was trying to read bits of it during commercial breaks and during meals.

Not quite as good as My Fair Captain, but still a very good m/m scifi romance.
