A fantastic short read that delves into questions of gender and race in a holistic, confessional, brilliant way. I felt like Vivek was saying things I already agreed with, but like tossing them together in a way that brought out much more nuanced conclusions. I want to give a copy to everyone!

We need more and more and more representations and stories from QTPOC and this beautiful and difficult short book which begins, "I'm afraid of men because it was men who taught me fear." is a great addition to a collection of trans voices. ...more
