I really liked Running with Scissors. I know some of it was disturbingly wrong, but it was so so funny. Knowing that story, I know he couldn't have possibly escaped without some neuroses, if not flat out damage.

This collection specifically, pretty strong. "Kitty, Kitty" was the best story, both funny (I actually lol'd) and kinda touching. Also I like that he thought as a child that Jesus's full name was "Jesus Fucking Christ", due to his parents cursing. Heh.
And just a sidethought: This guy is the poor man's Sedaris. Which sounds like an insult (and kind of is) but Sedaris is hard to compete with. And I've read everything by Sedaris (except the new When you are Engulfed in Flames 'un), so I have to mov ...more
