What Members Thought
This is a wonderful coming of age story for Middle Grade readers. Claire must grow up fast when her mother becomes ill after childbirth. Her brothers and sisters need her. Claire's problems with starting a new school, making friends, and trying to fit in, are something young girls, especially, will relate to.
