This was a true to life, page-turning read. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes modern teen reads. I couldn’t wait to find out what would happen with Landry and her friends. Krysten Linday Hager's novel, True Colors, is a fantastic read, especially for middle grade girls. Cliques are the norm for Landry's school, and she is just trying to fit in. She finds she can't please every girl in her class, and makes difficult choices when spending time with her friends. Besides coping with mean girls in her school, her home life is in turmoil, with her parents living apart. I highly recommend this book.
