The Debt Collector is a book that made me say, "Wow!" Susan Kaye Quinn has created a detailed, vibrant, gritty world. Every character, even the least, has unique traits and motives, adding depth to the story and further fleshing out the world. This is writing on a grand scale, with the story fully woven and alive from the first sentence. I'll warn you that the story is dark and unrelenting in its sad viciousness.
