You can't choose your parentage. But you can choose your legacy
Ι don't know what I am supposed to do here. The books of Rick Riordan are all time favorites of mine, as they can comfort someone in their darkest days, create smiles and tears and a million emotions and make a person fall in love with mythology and with the great, diverse and utterly adorable characters of each story. For this reason, I am not going to specifically talk about BoO but about Rick in general :D

Yes, this took me 2 years to read. I kept getting bored or distracted. I don't blame the book though. I just think maybe I've grown out of it now. PJO was great. HoO was never as great, but it was still really good. My taste changed though and I tried new things and new things in my life happened. It changed the way I enjoyed reading altogether, let alone with this book. That's why I'm going to give it 4 stars. As sad as it is, I don't believe I'll be continuing on with Rock Riordan's books. I absolutely loved this book! (view spoiler)
The ending got me really emotional. (Why did it ever have to end!?)
Let me just say, once you read it, you want to reread it, and reread it, over and over again.
Rick Riordans book left me in tears, but also left me really excited for

9/1/23 reread
I physically can’t give a PJO book less than 5 stars but my two main problems with this is that there’s not enough Percy, and the Gaea showdown was like really short 😂 of course though, as I said below, this series feels like home. I don’t know why I insist on rereading them because they make me DEPRESSED EVERY TIME, but I just love them too much. <3
