Wow. Just... Wow. I've loved this series since the very beginning, and the Mark of Athena was incredible as well. It's told from dual POVs in 3rd person limited, which adds to the affect. The Mark of Athena is action-packed and thrilling. If you're a fan of Rick Riordan or just this series, this book is a must-read.
And just let me say, I did NOT see the ending coming. At all.
All in all, it was amazing. Rick Riordan exceeded my expectations again! ...more

It’s hard to read when you can’t see the words because of your tears.

I swear it hurts more now than it did when I first read it. I don’t know why Rick did that. Or thought it was a good idea. Or thought anything beneficial would arise from it. Shame on you Rick.
