Bad Reputation by S.L. Scott was everything I expected and so much more! You can never go wrong with an S.L. Scott book. I have been a huge fan and she is a 1-click author for me! In Bad Reputation, we have Hutton Everest’s story and what a story it was! This was a second chance romance where being bad felt so, so good!

Being bad never felt so good.

I fell for Ally the moment I saw her. Who doesn’t like a confident, intelligent woman with curves I could spend days exploring?

Who am I kidding?
I have.
Many times.

Our story ended abruptly when she packed her bags and left like we weren’t meant to be. We are. So I’m calling her bluff. That’s how I ended up thousands of miles from home, standing next to a man who claims to be her fiancé.

Being good has never felt so bad.

Hutton Everest thinks he’s able to read a woman. I liked how the author shows the reader his point of view first. It gives us an idea of who he is before meeting our female character. Allyson “Ally” Edwards is confused as to what she’s looking for. I also liked how the author changes her point of view – that’s all I’m going to say because I want you to find out for yourself.

This story shows that no matter whom you are, we all have some tough choices to make and sometimes they’re ones that affect Hutton Everest thinks he’s able to read a woman. I also liked how the author changes her point of view – that’s all I’m going to say because I want you to find out for yourself.

This story shows that no matter whom you are, we all have some tough choices to make and sometimes they’re ones that affect others. But those that live in the public eye have it a lot tougher than we do. If you ever wished you could change places, this may give you a different perspective and ultimately have you changing your mind. It’s also hard to change something that has been in effect for hundreds of years.

Our author takes the time to sneak in a group from one of her other series. My disappointment was that, yes I know they’re only mentioned; I would have loved some Crow Brothers music. If you’ve not checked their books out yet, this might give you the incentive to see what their books are about. But you don’t have to read any other books in order to enjoy this one – this stands on its own.

This is considered a second chance but there’s a lot our couple needs to get through before getting to that point. Usually it’s the woman that we feel sorry for but Hutton seems to be one of a kind. He’s the one you have to feel sorry for because there seems to be so much going against him. Don’t judge this book by its cover. As you read you will come to realize that the cover is misleading. There are times you’ll feel sorry for Hutton and there will be times where you’ll feel sorry for Ally.

If you look beyond feeling sorry for the couple, you’ll come to realize that there’s plenty of heat going on. Some will come when they are in close proximity of the other and others may just be a look. Our author is good at the job of getting me invested in what is happening within the pages of this story. She never gave me any clues as to how things were going to turn out and that couldn’t be truer by how surprised I was by the ending. What is Ms. Scott going to have in store for me next?

He's the king of her heart!

Hutton is delicious! Ally is amazing! I loved this book!! Our little bookiverse has grown some more. We visited w our Crow brothers. We see Ethan again. We get to learn a new country where women are the rightful heirs to the throne. Everything is fantabulous! I love, love, loved these two and their journey to HEA. ...more
