It's not a secret the love & admiration I have S.L.Scott & her writing. I'm a huge fan of all her work and once again she's written an entertaining, fun, sweet, sexy and heartwarming read.

Loved Models on Top ~ Danny.
It was a touching and at times emotional second chance love story that had me turning the pages late into the night. I couldn't put it down.

I have to admit that Danny and Reese's story is a bit more angsty than I thought it would be but holy hell does the sweet, sexy, and witty scenes make up for my heart falling into my stomach a few times throughout the text.

Danny Weston is way more than a pretty face, and even though his looks make him the most sought after model, his magnetic personality and his caring, thoughtful demeanor make him the whole package - a man who any woman would want...a man who Reese Carmichael now has a second chance to right her mistakes and make hers again and this time, forever.

I love the insight readers are given about the modeling industry and people’s perceptions versus the reality of all it entails to become more than simply a famous face. S.L. Scott didn’t play to the stereotypes that seem to surround models; Danny is a down to earth guy who just happens to know how to respond and act in front of a camera. He definitely owns what he does, but it doesn’t define him, and that’s what makes Danny so appealing.

“Every night is a new opportunity, every day, a second chance to make things right.”

It’s definitely good to be the model on top, but, to Danny, having another shot at being with his first love is worth way more than any lucrative deal he would sign his name to…And…to be able to have both of those things would prove just how amazing Danny is!

Models on Top Danny is a second chance romance. Danny is on top of the modeling business and he has it all. Except the one who got away. Reese Carmicheal. Who happens to reappear in his life for a new modeling gig for Tonio Vittori. Vittori was an absolute blast to read about. He stole the show for me.

SL has written another great book! Models On Top- Danny is such a fun, enjoyable story! I love Danny!! Can I claim him as mine?

I have read several of S.L. Scott’s books at this point and at the top of my list is Johnny Outlaw from The Hard to Resist series. I love him. Now she gives us Danny’s story, whom I loved from The Resistance series, but who now gets his story and what a story it is. Quick side note, this is a standalone, though Danny does appear is some of the Hard to Resist series, you do not need to read them before reading Danny’s story. But, they are worth the read as well.

Back to Danny. Danny Weston is on top of the world he created for himself. For 10 years he has built the life he wanted. His brand, himself, is well known and sought after, and he could not be happier. Or so he thought.

Danny’s is now writing his own ticket, looking at all options available and what the future has in store for him. Lately he feels like something is missing, but he can’t quite place what is missing. Then he gets the opportunity of a lifetime, but not without cost.

Reese Carmichael once walked away from a once in a lifetime love. And every day she questioned that choice. For ten years she worked hard to obtain the future she thought she wanted. And now she wonders if what she really wanted she left behind.

I love second chance love stories. Sometimes life gets in the way, even when you know what you have is worth everything. These bad choices may lead you off your path, but sometimes you are lucky and find your way back. Now ten years later, Danny and Reese are working together on the opportunity of a lifetime for their careers. Can they pick-up where they left off? Or is it too late? And is it worth losing everything they have worked so hard to obtain? The choices!

Danny never knew why Reese left and Reese felt she was losing Danny to his new life. Now ten years later they are working together and sparks are flying. I loved the chemistry between them and how though ten years have passed, it’s as if no time has gone by between them. They are having a hard time remembering what pulled them apart. But so much stands in their way and the choices they make now will affect their future.

In the end, Danny knows how he feels and what he wants and though it may not be easy, she is not getting away again.

“That woman. That woman right there. She’s my someone.”

And watching them get there is fun and refreshing. It’s a love story that will sweep you in and though there are some obstacles that will stand in their way, they slowly realize what they mean to each other and what is truly important.

And Vittori, I loved him. His antics and unwavering support had me in stiches. Every girls needs a Vittori in her life!

I loved every minute of this book. You will not help but fall in love with Danny and Reese and cheer them on every step of the way. This was a 4.5 stars read for me and would definitely recommend!

Reconnecting for the first time in a decade, these two start to remember why they were so good together. But the question is, can they forget exactly what it was that caused their love to fall apart?

This was a book that, once I really got going, I couldn't put down. I was latched right on to every word, and when it came to an end, I was sad because I wanted more of these two. The characters in this book are definitely the best part in my opinion. Danny is insanely successful, he's got money, good looks, fame in the industry ... every ingredient needed to create a cocky, big-headed monster. But he's not cocky. Or big headed. Not in the slightest. Instead, he's this caring, funny, kind hearted individual who has a head on his shoulders despite the life he's living. He's also more interested in securing monogamy with one woman than running around and bedding every model from LA to New York.

Reese is great too. She's ambitious, she's strong and self-confident, and she stands up for the love she believes in and desires when it comes time to do so. She's made her share of mistakes, but she's willing to own up to them and do what's necessary to right her wrongs, which I really respected.

Vinnie ... Oh. My Lord. He's probably my favorite character from the book. His banter and his flamboyance had me laughing out loud at numerous parts of the story.

In addition to coming up with some really jump-off-the-page characters, Scott created a story that really tugged at my emotions and kept me involved right up to the last page. I was dying to know where things were going to go for the main two. We got just enough back story to be able to understand where each one was coming from in the present, and Scott wrote in such a way that I as a reader didn't need any extra convincing that these two had changed but were still right for one another.

Also, kudos to Scott for successfully taking characters from one series and spinning them off into their own series. Sometimes authors don't do the best job with that task, but Scott has knocked it out of the park and delivered an amazing first book!

Danny has easily earned a spot on my Top Book Boyfriends of 2016 list. Models on Top: Danny gets the Got Nikki? Must Read seal of approval. If you're looking for a funny and sexy second chance romance, this is the read for you!

This is not the first book I have read by S.L. Scott. She has a great writing style for romance. Correction - sexy romance. I enjoyed this story. Both of the main characters were likeable and I found myself really hoping for a happy ending for them.
