Contemplating Fitzwilliam and Elizabeth's lives after marriage never ceases to fascinate. This particular attempt works just fine when P.D. James relaxes into her own style, but is severely hampered by her attempts to connect her light mystery style to the beloved prose of Jane Austen. The beginning is clunky due to the process of trying to bridge the gap between the Darcys' wedding and the beginning of our mystery, but the middle picks up a bit, though.

Fun and entertaining.
