What Members Thought

Despite the clunky and inconsistent prose, the topic fascinates. I admire Bogard for tackling such a complex issue. He covers light pollution, cancer, astronomy, night shift work, good lighting, bad lighting, effects on wildlife, safety, irrational fears, community, tourism, and natural resources, among other things. With such a wide range of topics perhaps it's impossible to be completely cogent, but in the end he is pretty clear about the idea that we are destroying our night skies for no good
