I am so glad I listened to this one. Some salty language but Amy is so fun to listen to.

Yes Please is a great read for anyone who enjoyed Bossypants by Tina Fey. This book is a fun, easy read full of anecdotes about Amy Poehler’s career and personal life. She’s funny without trying too hard and has a very easygoing, conversational tone – it feels like you’re sitting down and having a conversation with her. - Tara S.

For books by comedians, I try to listen to the audiobook. I did that here. I really wanted to love this book, and there are some memorable moments. However, overall, this was not my cup of tea. The various voices threw me off and felt a little like boasting. I don't regret reading this book, but I wouldn't read it again.

I am in love with what Amy Poehler has written here. Lots of giggles. Lots of "heck YUS" as I read. There is wisdom and wit and respect and goodness, and it should be shared with a good friend.
