This book would have easily gotten 5 stars if it weren't for Carol. She ruined a lot for me.
I knew that she was a long shot from a good mother- but her chapter to explain why she wasn't a good mother only explained her own bad choices which made her be a bad mother. She could have made good choices at any point, but no, never. "Oh woe is me.
