Let's start this off by saying I was one of the biggest TwiHards back in the day. You name it - I did it. Midnight movie/book releases, writing/reading fanfic, multiple Forks trips, conventions, Twilight cruise, sleeping on the ground so I can get into Hall H at Comic Con. And you know what? I wouldn't trade any of those memories for anything. Twilight brought so much into my life and not just happiness but friends and adventures that I will treasure for life. But enough with the sappiness, let'

I cannot get over how much this book annoyed the living crap out of me. Talk about a book that should have stayed in the authors head. She never should have gotten pissy when the chapters were leaked and stopped writing it. I think this book would have been better when the Twilight books were first written because to many years in between books and it made this one boring and just annoying.

Going into this book, I really wasn't sure I wanted to know Edward's side of the story, much less read the same story just from another viewpoint. After reading it, I am so glad I did. I felt the story was so much better from his point of view. It explained so many things that I found weird when I read Bella's version. I also felt that the writing was much better in this version as it should be now that the author has 15 years of writing under her belt.

This was my favourite book at one point in time.....but over the years I grew up or may be Edward's story isn't that compelling to me. Self pity and self restraint is good but the limit to which Cullen's family goes is unbelievable and also Edward was 130 yrs old vampire and he never touched a girl/women!! seriously??? So believable!!! I read same line almost 10K times. Like how much he loved her and how his nearness is killing her and how he is so dangerous, how he shouldn't be with her. Omg se
