A Romeo and Juliet retelling that will definitely have you at the edge of your seat -even if it takes it awhile to get there.
This has been one of my most anticipated reads for awhile now. When I finally sat down to read it, I expected to be wowed! But sadly, the wowing didn't come until the last half of the book.

It saddens me to even give a 1-star rating because usually if I don't finish a book then I will try to go back and finish it at another time. However, I typically have that issue for the whole month for every book I try to read. This was not one of those months for me. I've read many other books while trying to read this one and this was the only one I had trouble with. The first 50 pages started out pretty good and then it just was dry and boring from there on out for me. I've ...more

Omg...this book came before or after corona...but the author must have started writing it before corona. And an organism creating havoc like this....is just too close to home. Storyline is fine but this spreadable organism reminded of corona too much and that's why I rated it low.
