"Time to panic?"
There are books that just hit at the perfect time and place. THAT is this book. Perfectly adorable - I was cracking up laughing through all of it. Poppy is funny, sarcastic and flighty. Alex is witty, stable and sweet. I loved getting a peak through flashbacks of their previous vacations and their first meeting. You don't love either of them to start. It's always easy to drift into a story that Emily Henry creates, and this was no different for me.
Overall, though, this one read more chick-lit, than romance, since Poppy & Alex spent much of the book in relationship(s) with other people.
That isn't a bad thing, because I enjoyed getting to experience their friendship from beginning to where it ended up going.
