Pip's turned from investigation to a podcast. And it's a 'real time' mystery now. An older brother of a friend is missing. She was there when he was last seen. The police won't search for an adult with a history of staying away a few days. They ask Pip to help raise awareness - ask her many follows to look, to search, to share if they've seen him. This installment is just as twisty and layered as the first. Pip is tested in ways that are similar but escalated when the police do no prioritize her friend's, Connor, brother's disappearance. Pip, this time, has more than Ravi for support.

I loved that we got to follow up on two things from the first book: the Max Hastings trial and what people thought of Pip as she shared her investigation of Andie and Sal as a podcast. It got more intense as we saw what people thought of her searching for Co ...more

Some books suffer from 2nd book syndrome but not this book series. It was every bit as good as the first book. I like the characters and the mystery is even good. I usually don't like YA mystery books but this series is really a good one.

Pip and Ravi try to find a close friend who has just disappeared. The ending of this book was so gut wrenching. I really felt for Pip at the end. ...more

Good Girl Bad Blood Review on K-Books

After absolutely loving A Good Girls Guide to Murder when it first released, I was so excited when I heard Holly was writing a second book in this series. Then when it released, story of my life, I was distracted by other books and never got around to picking it up. As I love a good spooky book around Halloween time, I decided to finally pick up this second book to read Good Girl Bad Blood Review on K-Books

After absolutely loving A Good Girls Guide to Murder when it first released, I was so excited when I heard Holly was writing a second book in this series. Then when it released, story of my life, I was distracted by other books and never got around to picking it up. As I love a good spooky book around Halloween time, I decided to finally pick up this second book to read in October. I’m so glad that I did, as I loved this book even more than the first one.

Good Girl, Bad Blood follows the story of Pip, who has promised not to do any more investigating for her podcast. She became too obsessed last time and it almost ruined her life. But when her friend’s brother goes missing without a trace, she is sucked back into her investigating in order to help find him. The police won’t do anything, so Pip has to. But things may get more dangerous than Pip could ever expect.

I absolutely loved Good Girl, Bad Blood. I felt like it was so much more addictive than the first book. I couldn’t put this one down. I was completely sucked into this mystery and I couldn’t stop guessing what could possibly have happened. There were certain moments in this book that actually gave me chills. I was freaked out and so scared about what was going to happen. While I did guess some of the events that happen in this book, I never could have guessed the way it played out. I absolutely loved every single moment of this book and I can’t wait to read the final book in this trilogy.

If you’re a fan of YA Thrillers that will keep you guessing at every turn, then I cannot recommend this series enough. Good Girl, Bad Blood was phenomenal. Although I won’t be diving straight into the third book (I can’t binge read guys, I get bored), I can’t wait to pick it up, hopefully in the near future and see how everything plays out for Pip. She is such an awesome character and I am desperate to see how it all ends for her and Ravi.

I enjoyed this one, especially how it wrapped up. I found it a little draggy in the middle but I liked how it ended and who was behind it all. I hope there's another one cause Pip is definitely a great detective. ...more
