It has been a terribly long time since I have wept so profusely while reading a book. A long time since a book has lodged so deeply into my bones and consumed every part of me. This book is going to give me a substantial book hangover that I don't think I'm ready for. Lock down your emotions before starting this series because it will tear you to pieces.

4.5 Stars - but I rounded up because of the amount of tears I shed.
This was probably my most anticipated read of this year. After the end of Aurora Burning, I was just shook. How was our Squad going to survive? How were they going to get back together? Just how??? The wait was torture and the minute I had this book in my hands, I just went to town. Of course stupid things like work and sleeping got in the way, but I just couldn't put it down.

I'm still trying to recover after finishing this, my emotions are pretty raw. I definitely ugly cried, held my breath during intense parts, and stayed up late because I needed to know how things were going to end. I never could have predicted how this would play out and I loved the twists and reveals. Let me say, you are not prepared.

3.5 stars. A (mostly) epic conclusion to this fantastic trilogy. It had nearly everything I wanted in it, which really isn't bad - I ask for a lot!
I loved the characters just as much as in the other books and was heartbroken and happy at where they all ended up (being deliberately non-spoilery). Some particularly special character moments for me: Zila really learning to feel; Tyler (view spoiler)

I know from the Aussie launch that this wasn't the ending sequence they initially planned, so I wonder what that ending was! This ending was satisfactory. My least favourite of the three books. I felt pretty confused at times and had to re-read parts, but that was to be expected with hard sci-fi like this, I'm not used to it. I loved seeing all of the characters and reading new things from them :D It didn't break my heart or even make me well up like the previous two :( But the beginning of this

Aurora's End Review on K-Books
“But maybe heart was all we ever had. Maybe love was always the flame we used to hold back the dark.”
Oh! My! God! What did I just read? This book is absolutely freaking phenomenal! There are no words to describe just how excited I was to get my hands on an ARC of Aurora’s End. I fell head over heels in love with this series a few years back when I got the first book in an Illumicrate box. I quickly became obsessed with this amazing series and after Aurora Burnin ...more
