I love the fairy tale world that was created in this book. I know most people would label this as a fantasy but I would rather see it put in fairy tales just because it felt like a retelling. Shiori is a spoiled princess who wants nothing to do with an arranged marriage her family has set up. She has magic but doesn't really know how to use it until a dragon agrees to help her. Magic is also viewed as something bad in the world where she lives, so she must hide her abilities.
