I didn't want this book to resonate with me -and I'm willing to admit it. As someone who has been in an abusive relationship, I just didn't want this one to touch me. So while I enjoyed it and I'm SO GLAD this book is out there, for it to resonate with others, I just held this one at arms length and enjoyed the writing and Atlas (because he was pretty awesome).

This is the 3rd book I've read from Colleen Hoover and I was hooked and I was sad and I was happy and thrilled by the love that Lily found with Ryle. I waited for the shoe to drop and was dying because I knew that it was going to break my heart for Lily and Ryle and I didn't have to wait long.

This is the first of this author’s books that I have read. I know she has a big following but didn’t expect to be blown away with this book. It was a wonderful break from my usual thriller genre. After reading this one, I went and purchased four more of hers. Such a good read.

Wow, this book was super intense. I started reading this thinking it was a typical romance novel or chick-lit. It sooooo was not. It had very dark moments that made my heart break. The end of this novel completely shattered me, I think I need a drink... I'm happy with the way it ended but omg it hurt. It hurt so bad...I'm seriously emotionally reeling from this book... I think I need to read everything Colleen Hoover has ever written now. ...more

4.5 stars. Wow. All the feels, literally cried in this one. More than once. What is it about CoHo writing that pulls me in completely so I forget literally everything else but her book?!

I cant say i loved this book although there were parts where i felt more invested than others. The story line is age old and the characters not particularly memorable. There was just a bit too much Chick in the lit for me
