Well I am not a thriller person, but for whatever reason, I have decided to read thriller books this month. This one wasn't bad. I did listen to the audio, and I actually liked how there was a different narrator for the voice recordings. It was actually done well that way because it had sound effects. The entire beginning of the book seemed more family drama and less thriller. But once it started going a little more, you could see the thriller parts coming out. Overall, this wasn't a bad book. I

A good book, with a slightly meta ending. However, it asked a little too much when it came to suspending disbelief in regards to Harriet's behaviour. Being that afraid of someone and still being around them all the time seems... Off. But the twist was interesting (I did predict it, but not until the latter half of the book) and the story was fast-paced and thrilling. ...more
