This was a mixed bag for me. I really liked Mika's interactions with the children, and I really like Ian and also the others, but I didn't really warm up to Jamie until I was over halfway through the book.

Enchanting story with engaging characters and a message of hope. Mika Ken,Ian, Lucie, Jamie, Rosette, Terracotta, and Altamira are each special in their own unique way and make for a wonderful family. Primrose is that dowager aunt that is prim and proper and caring but in an standoffish way. I enjoyed reading about them and their lives.

I somehow knew I was going to love this book. It was such a fast paced book with an amazing story. I loved each and every character in this adorable book.. Mika was the MC. She was a very sweet witch that just wanted to belong. She answered a message left to her and that is how she found Ian, Ken, Lucie, Rosetta, Altamira, Terracotta,and Jamie the male MC. Best cast of characters in a book

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK. If I could give it 10 stars I would!!!
