Well this book surprised me. This was another Apollycon find and I have zero regrets about purchasing it -and I'm super happy I just bought the entire series LOL.

I think I may be suffering from some romantasy fatigue as I thought this was... fine. I found the FMCs inability to talk and use of sign language interesting but it didn't seem to really play into the story all that much. I did appreciate the MMCs honesty and willingness to spill his secrets instead of keeping them from the FMC "for her own good/safety". I will continue on with the series as I like the supporting cast that has evolved and there's a world to save after all.
