This was just ok for me. I should preface that by saying fantasy is not my got to genre but there are several books/series I love. I’m eagerly awaiting Onyx Storm and I loved ACOTR and the Throne of Glass series. Raina and Alexus were such great characters. I definitely thought the angry vibe in the beginning would be too much but it actually made a great impact on the rest of the story. Raina's hatred of the Ice King and "his ilk" is such a huge part of who she is but as the story progresses you see her evolve. I will admit that it was in 12 days so that was a bit aggressive but when you look at their adventure, it couldn't have lasted longer.
