What Members Thought
This book started out a bit slow and didn't immediately pull me in, but I kept reading mainly because fantasy needs a bit more time to world build, and people seem to really enjoy it. A few things were a bit predictable, and I liked the strength of Diem (except when she can't think for herself and allows Henri to convince her of too much). The start of this book was really good and it captured my interest right away. After finishing the book I'm left with a lot of questions, that hopefully the next book(s) will answer. I did suspect the ending would happen the way it did, but I'm curious to learn how/why it was possible. (view spoiler)
