This had a lot of hype, which ended up not being the best thing for me as I had high expectations and ended up not loving it. The world was interesting and I would like to know more about the alchemy. The romance was just whatever, I wanted more tension and build up before anything happened. I also thought the pacing was slow in the middle and this could have been a bit shorter.
