So McFadden definitely has a formula but it's nice to see that she does alter is somewhat, otherwise we would just have a copy/paste situation on our hands and no one really wants that.
Millie is back and in need of money again. After struggling to find a job one just sort of tumbles into her lap - a little too easily one might suggest but Millie is desperate and accepts. Since I started reading Frieda McFadden in January, I can’t stop reading them and had to get them all.
This is the story of another housemaid. A little bit of similarities to the first but still a good plot. Except that I figured it out king before Millie. Let’s talk about Millie. Enjoyable as long as you don't analyze the plot too closely. Didn't love the messaging at the end about doubting women.

I liked this book, but I didn't enjoy it as much as the first one. Mainly because the twist, while not the same, was more predictable having read the first book. This was still an enjoyable thriller and I'll continue to pick up more Freida McFadden books.
