Rebel Witch was one of my most anticipated sequels of 2025. The first book took my heart by storm and this story has been on my mind ever since. I (im)patiently counted down the release of this follow-up and was so glad to be back in this world with characters that captured my heart.

Wow again. First, I am not the person who reads a book in 2 or 3 days. Especially when I’m reading a physical copy vs audiobook. But this duology was so addicting for me that I found out apparently I am able to do that. Any free moment I wanted to be reading it. I could not get enough of these characters, this plot, the world and how fast paced it was.

Gideon comes to kill Rune, and Rune proposes a truce because they are really on the same side, though they have a hard time admitting it. This is a dual POV book, and if these characters would just talk to each other, there wouldn't be so much misunderstandings. I really liked the second installment in the Crimson Moth duology a lot more than the first book. Rebel Witch had me cheering then screaming at these two the whole time. I love the MCs so much, but sometimes they can be so obtuse it’s really quite infuriating. This was an edge of your seat, page turner for me and I finished it in one day.
