Can you have too much mythology? Because I think that’s why I haven’t loved this series.
There’s no chemistry between the love interests, and even when they did pick up the banter after the world’s longest fight it was awkward and didn’t have the right rhythm to it. None of the characters grabbed my interest, which made it somewhat dull to read. It made the big moments emotionless, and just draining any impact. The stakes just weren’t there for me.

I have no complaints. I had a great time reading this. Freya and Bjorn have such great chemistry and banter. The mythology and world building was rich. There were twists and turns and it was action packed.
